**Coverup/Corrections
Any client with previous brow permanent makeup from another artist is automatically considered a coverup/correction and requires an email consultation for approval prior to booking. These clients can anticipate a $100 coverup/correction fee. For email consults please email Booking@YassaTattoo.com.

30 days before:
No filler or injections in or around the forehead.

2 weeks before:
Discontinued use of any ACTIVE skincare that encourages exfoliation (Retinol, AHA/BHA, Vitamin C, etc)

1 week before:
Do not tan or sun bathe. Irritated and/or sun burnt skin cannot be worked on. Also, refrain from any facial, laser or waxing treatments on your face.

24-48 hours before:
No blood thinners such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Caffeine, Coffee, Tea, Smoking, Alcohol, Soda, Niacin, Vitamin E, Advil, Fish Oil, etc.

Day Of: Arrive on time with a clean, makeup free face.

Failure to follow pre-care instructions may affect the outcome of your final results and that there may be a risk of infection or possible scarring if I do not adhere to the said instructions.

Menstrual Cycle: Please note you will be sensitive during your cycle due to hormones in the body.

All brow results are custom designed, mapped, and color mixed per client based on each persons facial features and preferences.

It is a collaborative process. Clients are welcome to bring any inspo pics to be taken into consideration or you can opt for Yassa’s creative freedom and expertise ✨

When you arrive your skin will be prepped and we will discuss what your goals are. Yassa will do a hyper-realistic pre-draw for your approval before the tattoo procedure begins.

The tattoo portion of the procedure can take approximately 1-1.5 hours.

Yassa will ask for your feedback if you are wanting to make any adjustments before your appointment is complete.

At the end of your appointment Yassa will discuss in depth the aftercare and healing process.

Active healing is 5-7 Days. Your skin takes 6-8 weeks for your skin to fully heal and results to fully settle.

Aftercare:

A barrier cream will be applied to your brows immediately post procedure. This is designed to let your brows drain lymph fluid without letting it harden, which prevents scabbing. You will be instructed to wash of the cream that night or the following morning depending on what time your appointment was. If you would like to opt out of the barrier cream, there are alternative instructions that will be given.

You will follow the cleansing schedule given for the following days, which is broken down day by day so you know exactly what to do.

Soap and ointment will be provided to you at your appointment.

Aftercare instructions may be modified by your Yassa post-procedure to meet your specific needs.

To Avoid for 5-7 Days:
- Any makeup, non-aftercare approved skincare, or SPF directly on tattooed freckles.
-Working out / excessive sweating
-No steam, sauna, hot showers that can ‘open’ pores
-Direct sunlight/tanning (including tanning beds)

Forever Care:
(For optimal long term results)

-Continue to moisturize your brows regularly.
-Always protect from the sun using SPF 50 or higher and wearing hats/sunglasses as needed.
-AVOID any laser treatment on or near your brows unless seeking removal. This can change the color to bright red, green, or even black.
-Use of active skincare ingredients will fade brows more rapidly and more frequent touchups will be expected. It is recommended to avoid applying skincare on your brows.

Touch Ups:

Perfecting Sessions are 6-8 week touch ups recommended for optimal results. You have up to 12 weeks to receive this touch up.

Color Boosts are available for clients that would like to revamp their color without adjusting, modifying shape or density.

Annual Refreshes can take place anywhere between 1-2 years post Perfecting Session. Brows must be 50-60% faded to receive a refresh to avoid over saturation.

Requirements:

18+ years old

Not currently pregnant or breastfeeding

No botox within 4 weeks of your appointment

Has not taken Accutane or undergone chemo/radiation in the last 6 months

Does not have an active skin condition near the procedure area (Eczema, Psoriasis, Cystic Acne, etc)

Does not have a blood thinning disorder such as Diabetes

Does not take any blood thinning medication or supplements

Does not have a history of keloids
