  • ABSOLUTELY NO CAFFEINE OR ALCOHOL 24-48 HOURS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT.
Caffeine and alcohol will cause excess bleeding and increase sensitivity. Failure to comply will result in your appointment being canceled/rescheduled. Additional fees will apply.

    30 days before:
No filler or injections in or around the eye/forehead area.

Lash Serums/Oils: Discontinue use of lash growth serums/oils at least 4 weeks prior to appointment. Serums/oils contain ingredients which causes more bleeding and secretion of lymph fluids resulting in hypersensitivity.

    2 weeks before:
Lash Extensions: Remove lash extensions at least 2 weeks prior to appointment (must also discontinue any lash extension applications for 4 weeks following appointment)

Discontinued use of any skincare that encourages exfoliation around the brow area (Retinol, AHA/BHA)

Do not tan or sun bathe. Irritated and/or sun burnt skin cannot be worked on. Also, refrain from any facial, laser or waxing treatments on your face.

Discontinued use of any skincare that encourages exfoliation around the brow area (Retinol, AHA/BHA)

    48 hours before:
No blood thinners such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Caffeine, Coffee, Tea, Smoking, Alcohol, Soda, Niacin, Vitamin E, Advil, Fish Oil, etc.

Sleep and rest well until appointment. Tiredness can cause excess sensitivity.

Arrive with no contact lenses and eye make up (recommended to arrive with no face make up (foundation, etc.) as well)

Menstrual Cycle: Please note you will be sensitive during your cycle due to hormones in the body.

Failure to follow pre-care instructions may affect the outcome of your final results and that there may be a risk of infection or possible scarring if I do not adhere to the said instructions.

  • All eyeliner results are custom designed and color mixed per client based on each persons facial features and preferences. As far as color, all neutrals are possible from soft brown to blackest black.

It is a collaborative process. Clients are welcome to bring any inspo pics to be taken into consideration or you can opt for Yassa’s creative freedom and expertise ✨ With eyeliner, there are certain limitations / perimeters to stay within based on your specific eye shape and creasing.

When you arrive your skin will be prepped and we will discuss what your goals are. For Winged Eyeliner, Yassa will do a pre-draw for your approval before the tattoo procedure begins.

The tattoo portion of the procedure can take approximately 1-1.5 hours.

Yassa will ask for your feedback if you are wanting to make any adjustments before your appointment is complete.

At the end of your appointment Yassa will discuss in depth the aftercare and healing process.

**If you any questions prior to booking, please send an inquiry to browriot@gmail.com for support.

  • Active healing is 5-7 Days. Your skin takes 6-8 weeks for your skin to fully heal and results to fully settle.
    ________

    Aftercare Instructions:
Keep eyelids/lash line clean by blotting with sterile water wipes provided until healed.
No Ointment or Lotion is to be used.

NO Makeup, Skincare, Sunscreen on or near the eyeliner tattoo for 1 week post session.

NO Lash Extensions, Strip Lashes, Lash Serums for 2-4 weeks post session.

    What to Expect:

    Day 1
Since the skin has been pierced over and over again, you can expect some soreness, swelling and irritation on the first day, or even longer. You can relieve the discomfort with a cold compress, just don’t press too hard. Everyone’s skin reacts differently, so give it some time. If the swelling doesn’t subside within a few days, contact your artist and have them assess the situation.

You can also expect lymph buildup, which you need to clean according to the aftercare instructions our artist will prescribe.

Your freshly done eyeliner looks very dark and that can make you regret getting it. Don’t panic! The pigment will fade up to 50% until the permanent eyeliner healing process is through. The true color will only emerge after about 3 weeks.

    Day 2
The swelling on your eyelids should be better by now; it may even subside completely. Your eyelids feel tight and the lash area is sensitive. Don’t touch it, just clean the area gently as prescribed.

    Day 3-4
The scabbing and flaking stage starts. Most people experience it and it is a perfectly normal part of the permanent eyeliner healing process – it means your skin is closing up the wounds. Never pick at the scabs/flaking no matter what!

    Days 5-10
Flaking continues and at the end of it, the eyeliner looks faded. Don’t panic and think that the pigment’s disappeared. The color will return.

    2-8 Weeks
Your permanent eyeliner healing process will continue for a few more weeks, but you won’t see the unattractive symptoms anymore. The color may continue to fluctuate. You can now start wearing eye makeup again, but make sure to get fresh products – old mascara tubes, pencils, eyeshadow containers and brushes inevitably have germs in them which your freshly tattooed skin can’t handle. You risk developing an infection.

    ________

    Touch Ups:

Perfecting Sessions are 6-8 week touch ups recommended for optimal results. You have up to 12 weeks to receive this touch up.

Color Boosts are available for clients that would like to revamp their color without adjusting, modifying shape or density.

Annual Refreshes can take place anywhere between 1-2 years post Perfecting Session. Eyeliner must be 50-60% faded to receive a refresh to avoid over saturation.

**For Color Boost & Annual Refresh clients, please text or email photos of your eyeliners current state for approval prior to booking.
